Husbands deserve pampering on Father’s Day just as much as we enjoy Pampering on Mather’s Day ladies. Not sure what to do for him?

Ladies, most men would enjoy similar things that we would. They are not as complicated (at times) as we try to make them out to be. Spoil them and show them how much they mean to you and your family.

We all know that husbands are like kids – they are much easier to please when they have full bellies. Why not capitalize on this? Let your husband sleep in. He deserves it.

Fix him his favorite breakfast whether it be French toast, omelet, or your homemade waffles. Bring it to him on a tray so that he can enjoy it in bed without any interruptions. Let the kids help with this so they are also contributing to his happiness throughout the day.

Alternatively, you could cook him his favorite dinner as well and share it with the whole family sitting down together. Many homes have foregone the tradition of sitting down together to enjoy a meal at home. Treat him to a family dinner cooked by his loving wife after a long and stressful week this Father’s Day.

Plan a special date night for just the two of you. Prearrange a sitter and take him somewhere that is special to the two of you. Celebrate everything that he has done for you and show him that you appreciate him and what he has done for you.

Celebrate the man that has made this family possible. It does not have to be anything fancy – just something that you both enjoy together. Spending time together is definitely what your man needs.

Carve out some time just for you and your husband to relax together or spend some quality time together alone. When you have kids, the time that you get to spend together gets severely cut. Spend some quality time reconnecting as a couple.

Give your husband a nice massage at the end of the night to help him relax. He may not admit it but he probably enjoys a massage just as much if not more than you do.

Take over some of the household work your husband does for the day – or hire somebody to do it if you are too overloaded. Allow him to relax and unwind. Let him enjoy his day – or if you are feeling generous enough – the whole weekend.

It will also help you appreciate what he does for the family. You may not realize just how much effort he puts in to the house when he gets home from work.

Devote the Saturday before to doing his favorite activities together as a family. Go see a major league baseball game together. Go to a park and enjoy a picnic or BBQ together. It will be a great time to reconnect as a family and spend some quality time with him.

Family is essentially what Father’s Day is about – let him enjoy time with those who love him.
